1. DOCTOR ANESTHETIST (1 POSITION IN PORT HARCOURT)

- A diploma in anesthesia is a must

PROGRAM MANAGER, GLOBAL FUND PMTCT
DUTIES
The Global Fund PMTCT Manager will assist the Senior Program Manager in the Accelerated Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) grant From Global Fund Principle Recipient the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA).
In September 201 0, NACA named CRS as a sub recipient on its Round 9 HIV set aside for Accelerated PMTCT. The proposal was based on the Integrated Cluster Model, with a comprehensive treatment center as the nucleus of the cluster and related PMTCT services accessible within a radius of 15- 20 kilometers. This will improve linkages strengthen referrals and ensure a continuum of care in the provision of HIV related services.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, management and reporting of project activities at the PHC level and will oversee the work of sub-sub grantees in allocated state(s)
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCES:
Academic qualification in Public Health or equivalent is desirable (bachelor’s degree required, masters’ degree in public health or related field strongly preferred).
At least 4 years’ experience working in public health including HIV/AIDS and PMTCT with significant program management responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to manage a project in an HIV/AIDS service delivery setting, including working with government authorities.
Proven experience working with and through partner organizations including the public sector.
Working knowledge of and experience with UN, USG or GF projects.
Excellent organizational, analytical. oral and written communication skills.
Ability to travel 40% of time to field sites
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Head of Programs; Head of Unit HSS; Finance and Compliance Specialist and other CRS program staff.

PLANTATION RECRUITMENT IN CROSS RIVER, THURSDAY 12, JULY 2012


OUR COMPANY
We are globally the largest processor and merchandisers of Palm and Lauric Oils and a major Oil palm plantation owner. We have vacancies existing in our Plantations in the Cross River State, Nigeria for experienced, highly motivated and result-driven professionals in the following roles:
HCV OFFICER
Reporting to the CSR Department. Plantation Head and General, Manager the candidate will be responsible for the management. monitoring and enhancement of all High Conservation Areas(HCVs) in oil palm plantations in Nigeria, The candidate will provide support in the conservation and enhancement of biodiversity in these areas
KEY DUTIES
• HCV management and field monitoring for HCV areas for all of Nigerian operations
• Internal field auditing for RSPO  compliance for HCV related matters,
• Supervision and co-ordination of all operation staff and workers under his/her charge,
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate and work effectively with other departments in plantation and stakeholders,
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• A degree in biological sciences or related relevant degree,
• Field and biodiversity surveys experience,
• Ability to work independently,
• Excellent communication and people skills,
• An understanding of the requirements of the Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is preferable but not mandatory,
MANAGER, CORPORATE & COMMUNITY RELATIONS
KEY DUTIES:
• The successful candidate will be required to:
• Effectively coordinate all matters relating to public & government relations, regulatory affairs for the company in the State Capital of Calabar and environs

• Be responsible for Port clearing of imported goods (fertilizer, seedling, Chemicals, Plantation equipment, Plant and Machinery)
• Track all supply and order from plantation business and coordinate with supplier.
• Review and develop all current supply chain systems to ensure they are fit for purpose and accurate.

• Possess a relevant degree In Purchasing and Supply or other relevant disciplines.

4. MANAGER – LEGAL AFFAIRS
JOB PROFILE:
• Co-ordinate all legal and regulatory activities and ensure compliance with the laws of land.
• Responsible for drafting all official documentation related to contracts, tenders, employments and other communication.
• Support at legal processes for acquisitions or any form of partnership within Nigeria and coordinate with the Groups overseas Legal advisors.
• Ensure all investments are efficiently processed and as per the Government guidelines.
• Represent the Organization at the forums where matters of legal regulatory nature is required to be addressed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• Possess a relevant degree in Law and must have been called to bar.
• Have minimum two (2) years working experience in a similar role and/or environment.

5. ACCOUNTANTS
The company operates in a SAP environment and hence candidates with prior exposure to SAP or any ERP package will be preferred.
JOB PROFILE:
• Posting of Daily/Weekly transaction and accurate maintenance of accounts.
• Responsible for Cash management, purchase transactions, posting and payment of various suppliers,
• Monthly bank reconciliation and managing all bank accounts.
• Presenting financial statements & regular operational and financial reports.
• Preparation of monthly P&L,BIS and cash flow statements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• 5 – 10 years experience in an accounting dept of a large firm.
• Exposure to an integrated accounting system.
• Certification in Accounting (ACA or ICAN )
• University Degree

The institutions established include the Port Harcourt Water Corporation.
SAMUELSON has been engaged by the State Government to identify an exceptional, proactive, experienced and versatile individual to fill the position of Managing Director & CEO of the Water Corporation. The successful candidate shall be engaged on a performance-based contract for 5 years, with the option to renew for the same period and shall report to the Board of the Corporation.
MANAGING DIRECTOR AND CEO
QUALIFICATIONS
A university Degree in one or more of the following or related fields of study: hydrology, water engineering, electrical engineering, geology, biochemistry, environmental sciences [or management], accountancy or business administration, with a minimum of second class division
A postgraduate degree and I or professional qualifications will be a distinct advantage
Preferably with experience in water engineering procedures, operations and practices, as well as in large-scale urban water , engineering projects
A minimum of 20 years post-degree work: experience. Possessing 10 years [inclusive] working experience with a utility service provider shall be an added advantage
IT/IS proficiency and project management skins – A must
Excellent decision making and people management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES / SCOPE OF WORK
To provide innovative, efficient and proactive leadership for the Corporation
To play a leading role in the State Water Sector Reforms
Shall implement commercial and customer-oriented approaches in service delivery
Shall act as the Chief Accounting Officer of the Corporation
Shall develop and implement systems, procedures and standards for the day to day operations and maintenance
Shall be proactive in problem diagnostics and solution-oriented development with regards to the management of water and sewerage systems and installations
Provides timely technical, operational and financial reports to the Board, supervising Ministry and the State Water Regulatory Commission” as and when required
