Job Description

  • Reports directly to Marketing manager in head office.

  • Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
  • Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise.
  • Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives merchandise selected by customer.
  • Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
  • Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer, using computer, paper and pencil, cash register, or calculator, to determine bill.
  • Accepts payment and makes change.
  • Wraps or bags/ handle delivery of merchandise for customers.
  • Cleans shelves, counters, or tables.
  • Removes and records amount of cash in register at end of shift. (where designated)
  • May keep record of sales, prepare inventory of stock, or order merchandise.
  • May be designated according to product sold or type of store.

Qualifications
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of computer system; must be able to import and download data online.
  • An associates or bachelor's degree may be required. A minimum of diploma is required or related work experience of 2 or more years in related field.
  • Many of the skills required to be a sales clerk are learned on the job, through staff training. Therefore, required is the ability to learn in a fast paced environment. No special licenses are required to act as a sales clerk.
  • Customer service experience and simple math skills are usually advantageous to success.

2.) Sales Representatives

Job Description
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Materials arriving with correct / complete shipping / customs documentation
  • Adherence to company policy and guidelines
  • Understanding of Materials Importation Process / Incoterms
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written)
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Higher National Diploma or Equivalent
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of hands–on applicable experience in importation and Customs processing.
  • Skilled in the use of web-based materials tracking system
  • Skilled in handling of common e-mail application, Word, Excel and Power-point.

JOB TITLE: CLIENT OFFICER
 LOCATION: Ibadan, Oyo

RESPONSIBILITIES

 The Client Officer is responsible for processing the loans, monitoring the loan portfolio and developing the Advans La Fayette MFB loan clientele.
 He/she will also be responsible for developing the savings and deposits portfolio for the target groups.
 The client Officer will spend more than 60% of the time on the field by performing visits to clients in commercial areas.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
 Degree, Higher National Diploma or Ordinary National Diploma (preferably in the area of interest : management / accountancy / bank / finance / economics / marketing)
 Good relationship and communication skills, strong team spiritAnalysis skills
 Good computer skills
 Real motivation to work and grow in a challenging context
 Taste for fieldwork

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
 Practical knowledge of micro / small / medium businesses
 Knowledge of micro finance bank sector is a must
